Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Band Name - Da Foundation From - South Jersey Members - O.V, Kenn-Rock, GodZ Prince Style - Eclectic -----In 2004, CEO ISRAEL MONTALVO(GodZ Prince) formed a recording label(PREDADA RECORDZ) that consisted of many hot local artists, KENN-ROCK and O.V, were among these artists. -----As time progressed, certain artists either stopped rapping, or they wanted to do their own thing, or just suffered from pure jealousy. Five artists remained in 2006 (O.V/Kenn-Rock/J-StaxXx/Pretty Boy/GodZ Prince) and in the midst of all the turmoil and abandonment, an group and an incomplete album was formed, DA FOUNDATION consisting of KENN-ROCK, O.V, GODZ PRINCE -----In the making of the album DA FOUNDATION they'd decide to keep it short and leave 12 tracks on it just to see where it would land them. They ended up with outstanding reviews from major record labels (DEF JAM just to name one) staged unforgettable performances, and stormed through competition. But as empty promises were made, financial, and personal problems would surface, they had a screeching halt on making new material, so they'd go their separate ways, KENN-ROCK would form his record label BLACK GOVERNMENT and O.V would also do the same named CK PRODUCTIONZ -----Now, in 2008, They are back and as fiercem as they'd have been. Having learned from silly mistakes and from life's lessons, these three individuals are determined to bring pure lyricism and word play back into hip-hop. DA FOUNDATION is 3 different artists from 3 different walks of life coming together to make LEGENDARY MUSIC!!!!!!!
