all these tunes except 'rave maria' written back in the 90's on an Amiga (that's what we had when all pc's could do was...well..i dunno..and mixed down onto cassette tape - remember those? This is the main reason the sound quality ain't great on all the tunes. they're all from tape as the original hardware was lost/given away/sold in the intervening years. should have some DATs somewhere but they're proving elusive.
all vocal samples are either taken from many jam sessions/gigs with friends i recorded myself on 4-track cassette and sampled in glorious 8bit into the old amiga.
exception to this is 'rave maria' which was recently written using my pc which uses a vocal from a band demo which was recorded by a mate jon on his sandwich maker. the band are the 'dislocated thumbs' also here on soundclick.
live guitar added to the tunes by me on 'heysa' and manton on 'rise up
from memory i sampled the following people whose vocal talents appear on one or more of the tracks available here;
mac
the harmony fish (a local acapella band featuring elaine, jo and ellie)
lucy
jed(?)
ro
apoligations if i missed anyone.
