Dan Weaver (HBG)

My name is Dan Weaver. I am currently living in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania region. I am a singer/guitarist/songwriter. I'm an acoustic guitarist primarily with a huge list of influences. I've been seriously singing for about 1 year, and playing guitar for about 4 years. I write songs about myself and how i feel.

Dan Weaver is an individual who, after being part of many indie rock bands, decided to try his hand at acoustic work. He and his brother Kenny Weaver teamed up as a duo and begin writing. They wrote two songs together (Who I Am and Change) before disbanding. They played an impromptu reunion show in January 2006 before breaking up for good. Dan continued writing and played his first solo show in mid April 2006. Though, in the beginning his influences were in the classic rock scene he has evolved musically and now has his own identifiable sound. His music is constantly evolving as his influences change and his experiences change. Dan's debut EP, the Queen Anne's Revenge, was produced by Jeff Meglio at the now defunct Cape Sound Studios with Jared Kroh of Satellite on drums and Sam Williamson of Randy Rooster on bass guitar.. Consisting of the first 8 songs Dan ever wrote, it is now generally used to illustrate how far he has come in such a short time. After playing 6-10 shows a month from August to December, Dan took a 3 month hiatus to work on new material. He went expecting to write 4 or 5 songs but came out of it with 11 finished songs and 4 more that he is still working on. He has come out of his hiatus and is planning to begin booking shows again soon.

Yep I play at different places like Crimson Frog, Juice N Java, The Little Coffeehouse, Champion Ship and a few others.
