Dan Pinto

SHORT BACKGROUND: Dan Pinto began his career as a drummer in 1974 shortly afterwards learning his craft at the keyboards. His live stage experience started in 1976 performing in local cover bands and continued throughout the 1980s before turning his attention exclusively to composing and studio recording. Working with the unusual combination of keyboards, drums and percussion, Dan began writing original compositions in 1977 first performing his music live and later writing for a variety of television and film company productions. In addition to his talents as a performer and composer, he also developed skills at sound production and engineering as he was building what was to become known as "Pinto Studios" a complete audio/visual recording studio. This is where all the music he writes is recorded and mastered for release. __________________________________________________ STYLES OF MUSIC SPECIALIZING WITH: Jazz-Rock Fusion, Film Soundtrack, New Age, Classical, Orchestral Rock Fusion __________________________________________________ PAST PERFORMANCE & RECORDING EXPERIENCE: Dan's performances include live solo piano as well as sequenced electronics, drums and percussion; Opened for Joan Jett & The Black Hearts; New York City appearances in most major clubs including a live audio CD release at "The Ritz", Studio drums performed with renowned jazz bassist, Dave LaRue. Studio recordings include 6 solo CD releases; Many individual recordings written, produced and arranged for major network television, moviesound production and independent video. Has written music for AT&T, RCA, CNN, Lifestyles Of The Rich & Famous, Runaway With The Rich And Famous, Cable Television & Industrial video. Movie soundtracks: "Die For A Life" featuring his own full length music score written, recorded edited and produced out of "Pinto Studios," released on Eclectic Sound Records.
