Welcome! You've reached Danny Biederman's soundclick page. I hope that you enjoy what you hear on this page and tell others about it. I will do my very best to keep everyone posted on upcoming events.
Band/artist history
I started teaching myself guitar a little over two years ago and my songwriting has taken off ever since. I have experimented with a band but I missed my solo acoustic songs so I ended up dropping out. I have release one cd so far (Highly Evolved) and I am currently working on my second which will blend acoustic guitars and electric guitars on several tracks.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yeah, in the past year I have played live playing my own music as well as playing in a band. I LOVE playing live because you get to share something with the people listening that you can't share on a cd. There is this point where I feel really close to the listeners and it is so intimate. I hate being on a stage that is like 3 feet above or away from the first row of listeners because it keeps us from interacting. I can't get any feedback and in turn they lose the emotion that I pour into my songs.
Your musical influences
The Beatles, John Mayer, Dashboard Confessional, Jason Mraz, Elliott Smith (RIP)
What equipment do you use?
A Samick OM8CE and Galveston jumbo acoustic electric guitar. I use a Shure SM58 vocal mic, a pod for compression on vocals and guitar, and Cool Edit Pro 2.0. For electric songs I use a Epiphone Les Paul copy, Epiphone Casino, Rickenbacker 360-12 string and a customized Peavey Raptor EXP Plus.
Anything else?
I hope that everyone enjoys my music. Hopefully you will like the new material as much or more than the older songs. I have really changed within the past 6 months and I hope that everyone thinks that my change musically is for the best.
Thanks for checking out my page!
