Meet Danny B and the Bees. A fabulous, hardworking blues unit. The real thing! Keeping the blues alive from way down in Iowa. Deeply steeped in the blues, with a rich stew of swingin' soul.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We've been playing together for 50 years, except our drummer, who is considerably younger. We're all from the West Coast and found the real blues are played in Iowa. This is our first band, and it'll be our last.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
No...we spend all our time in the studio, cookin' up more great blues.
Your musical influences
We dig '70s R&B, '60s soul, '50s blues, with a dose of swing 'n' jump from the '40s.
