Hey there, thanks for visiting my site,
My name is Daniel Rathlef, I was born in Sao Paulo/ Brazil
I was raised in Germany.
I play Guitar, Eletric Guitar, Piano, and many other intruments
oh and I sing.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
well i started playing violin when i was about 5 years old or so, then it was kinda boring and i wanted to start something new and cooler. So my grandfather ''Winfried Rathlef'' who playes alot instruments tought me how to play the piano. and i admit i was pretty good.
And i just kept practicing for no reason, i would have never thought that it would involve around my future and partly my job.
When i came to the USA at age of 15 i started playing the guitar, but it took me about 1 year to get really good at it...
and now Im 17 and have my own homestudio, and hope to make music a part of my life.
i play some other intruments aswell like the Saxophon, Cello, and the Bass guitar
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
yes sometimes at school to show my friends my new songs, or just infront of my parents.
Your musical influences
my idol would have to be my grandfather and my dad. theyre really good songwriters and they can play alot of instruments.
They helped me get to know music better and how to write songs.
What equipment do you use?
um recording?? thats a secret
but i have 4 acoustic guitars: Seagull Artist 12 String, Life, Nashville, and i dont know what the other ones called.
