Daniel Morgan
Daniel Morgan is a singer/song-writer from Llanelli, South Wales. He has played with a number of local bands such as Artimus Crisis and Paraffinalien and most recently with the progressive rock outfit The Time Circus.
On this site you will find a selection of his solo music, which is mainly acoustic rock with the odd lively number thrown in for good measure. Enjoy!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
My solo performances are mostly at pubs and open mic nights, though I have a fair bit of experience playing for a number of bands (on lead vocs, guitar and bass).
Your musical influences
Jimmy Page is my all-time biggest inspiration. I'd been playing guitar for quite a few years; and then suddenly I heard Led Zeppelin and (as I'm sure is true for a large number of people) it changed my attitude and approach to music forever. My other main musical influences range from classic rock bands such as The Clash, acts such as Muse, Blur and Radiohead, to artists such as Bob Dylan, Bert Jansch and Peter Gabriel.
