Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Mr. kiX wanted to employ his Soviet synthesizers Yunostj, Polivoks and Aelita, so he contacted Hank Rosse and after the fourth bottle of vodka, they decided to give birth to Dancing Idiots!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, but usually only with Hank Rosse solo. If Mr. kiX chooses to play live, he is usually behind the curtain playing his much loved Soviet synthesizers.
Your musical influences
OK, our music isn't as bad as that. We try to do dance music we like (which ends up with some people saying that it's not house or trance, but more a dancey version of EBM). OK, get to the point - Leftfield, Underworld, Prodigy, Front 242...
What equipment do you use?
Soviet synthesizers Yunostj, Polivoks and Aelita and several old skool computers (PMD 85, PP 01, Commodore Amiga) as well as 21 Tesla microphones.
