As an MC, Jay-Z, of course. Nas...Big Daddy Kane especially, Treach of Naughty by Nature. Busta Rhymes and Eminem. Production wise...The Neptunes, Timbaland, Kanye West, Just Blaze.What equipment do you use?
I use the MPC 2000xl, ASR-X, Ensoniq EPS, SP-1200 sometimes for the swing timing, and Cool Edit Pro just to name a few.Anything else?
The production company that I am currently working with is Sooner Or Later Entertainment. S.O.L. is a collection of some the most innovative and creative minds that I know. Our members possess degrees from various universities, in disciplines ranging from communication to marketing. As a whole we are a dynamic group of eager entreprenuers seeking to put our lasting stamp on the entertainment industry. We have a line-up of creative team members ranging from producers, songwriters, musicians, singers, MC's, as well as financial advisors and marketing consultants. Our approach to success in the industry is by simply applying the knowledge we've gained to a small scale and eventually make major waves. Though, we are not focused on becoming a label, we are poised to handle many of the responsibilities of one. We are focused on supplying the music industry with many of our talents from orignal music production (original beats, production, song writing, etc.), to innovative urban marketing inniatives (marketing, public relations, etc.).
