Welcome!!!! Meet Da Next N***A to Blow Out Da Durty South!!!!$$$$
Band/artist history
When I was younger I liked drawing (Graffiti, still form, or abstract) it was my way of expressing myself...the pains and the joys. Then I started writing poems even kept a journal, but then I got locked up and my dawg Black(RIP) loved my poems, he would come to my cell and say, "Dalkim, hit a verse." and I new he liked it. Well, he could rap and he showed me how to turn my poems into songs. Then he helped me learn how to rap my songs and then he said, "Now you can write and you got flow... all you need to do is find your own style." So I ran with it caught on real quick and let my heart do the writing.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Haven't been able to get out there yet like I want to, because i've been on house arrest for the last year or so, thats why i'm tryin to create a fanbase trough the world wide web. It seems like dat ol' devil tryin' to kill my voice, but i'll be off soon...very soon, so you'll hear about me.
Your musical influences
Slick Rick because I love his ability to tell vivid stories. KRS-One, Chuck D, Common(since he was CommonSense) and Kanye because of their intellect. Geto Boys, Scarface, UGK, and Tupac because of their realness and Biggie because of versatility and sense of humor. I'm a collective and perfect union of them all with the ability to think outside the box.
What equipment do you use?
I'm starting to learn how to use sound forge9 and FL7, but mostly I get all production done by CherryHill Productionz and Synistah Traxx in Moncks Corner, S.C.
Anything else?
Check Ya Boy out. Gimme some feedback constructive or otherwise. Trust me you won't be disappointed.
