Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Asad gathered all the us together. It did not happen in one day. It took a whole year to take the shape of Daira what it is today. In the beginning it was just Asad, Sahil, and Matt. Then Jon and Nick joined as drummer and bass guitarist respectively but Nick had to leave because of studies. This fall of 2006, Taryn, Robbie and Charlie joined the band and the band completed.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, We have performed a few small fun gigs and 2 proper concerts at The Roost and Bandersnatch Coffeehouse. And competed in the battle of bands for cancer and won that. We love performing live. Thats what we are all about. Expressing our real selves through music.
Your musical influences
We all have different tastes but we plan to do alternative rock with eastern and western influences to it.
