D2
D2 is an eclectic fusion of classical and electronic stylings that results in an original, airy sound capitalizing on sweeping atmospheric pads, driving beats, dramatic synth stabs and moody breakdowns. After having all three of their collaborative efforts break the top 40, two of them reaching the top 20, the two elements of D2 (composer Terri Dulin and DJ/Producer Max Pollack) finally come together under the same name to produce a constant stream of quality tracks for the masses. Terri brings to the group an intricate knowledge of composition and is responsible for writing most of the tracks while composition and engineering is handled by Max. Their style utilizes distorted kicks, synths and a roller coaster ride of emotional sounds, sure to please any Electronica fan.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Not as of this update.
Your musical influences
My biggest nfluence is definitely the music of James Horner and John Williams but film scores in general really inspire me.
Have to give props to Scott Brown as most of my interest is actually in hardcore - in that same vein DJ Sharkey, DJ Brisk and DJ Sy! I'd also have to say I draw a lot of inspiration from the sounds of Juno Reactor and Caesar Filori.
