Curt Daniels and the Cool Beans
Who are the Cool Beans? You have got to be kidding me, right! The Cool Beans are probably the most sought after band in history. They formed in the mid 90's, pu

Was it Love? Was it Love?
A fun bluesy song with a hit of jazz; unfortunately not the best version but for now this one will have to do.

Welcome to Curt Daniels and the Cool Beans, new all original music with an old school twist; some rock'n roll, some a little heavier, some with a hint of jazz, and some with a folk influence but all with core feeling, not always pretty but always honest. We're not professional musicians but players that give it all they got and though a few clams slip out, the pot is boiling and there is fire underneath.Have you performed in front of an audience?Almost every Wed. night in my basement; and more often than not it is a blast; we like that, but getting out and humping gear and playing to a crowd, it's O.K. but more like work.
Your musical influences
Love SRV and Jimi and I don't pretend to play like them but they have had great influence as well as ACDC, Leo Kottke, Zappa; always loved the blues but fusion is my favorite; rock/blues, jazz/rock, the blending of styles turns me on.What equipment do you use?
Guitars; Parker, Tele, Strat, Aco. Guild, Taylor. Amps; Fender DeVille 4-10's, Peavey Classic 30; Effects, Alesis Midi Verb, BBE Sonic Maximizer; Sure mikes and a Oktava MK 219/ Fender Bass thru a Roland Amp/ Tama Drums with a miss match of hardware and splash including a propane cylinder.Anything else?
I write all the songs and sometime the Cool Beans just follow and sometimes we change it together, tempo, repeat that 3 times before the big ending and the like. Then some tunes are just me and may stay that way or reemerge as a Bean project but it is all for fun and if it seems too much like work we shut down and just jam and everyone who plays knows that the best stuff happens when the recorders are off. The spirits need theirs too.
