The Cullman High School Symphonic Band is the elite performing ensemble of Cullman High School in Cullman, Alabama and is a model of elegance, class, and superiority among wind ensembles. Over the course of 78 years, the CHS Symphonic Band has established one of the most successful bands in the Southeast.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The Cullman High School Band Program was founded when Cullman High School was built in 1929. The Symphonic Band was founded at the same time, and immediately began playing only the most difficult music and soon gained a reputation of excellence. Cullman High School now hosts District Festival for its district under the Alabama Bandmasters Association.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
The band plays public several times a season.
