DJ Premier and RZA, and everyone else that trys to sound like them. On the electronic side of things I like Aphex Twin, LTJ Bukem, Plastikman and Roni Size. Also on top of everyone else I have to add Ennio Morricone.
What equipment do you use?
I use a Yamaha Motif 6, Reason 2.5, Ableton Live 4.0 and many VSTs, the motif is too nice, get one.

Well Played. This is all very cinematic, I'd love to see a lot of this layered over a film (Hellsing being the obvious choice, but a lot of the other jawns as well). I'll need to check back when I'm not at work, and therefore have some bass handy.
