Csaw (GR)
C.saw is a dark rock/metal band created as a gateway for all the depressive feelings that Christos withheld. The first full album has 9 songs all based in the question whether tragedy is a random misfortune or is it an act of vengeance by higher spirits. The first cd single 'Acid Rain' will be the prologue of the album and will be out soon.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The band has a short history but not its musicians. As c.saw we exist from the summer of 2010, all the band members though have been in the music industry for many years , even some from 1987!! all been part of some of the most legendary bands in Thessaloniki, Greece such as Regent etc.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes we do perform live. We have always believed that playing live is an obligation a musician has towards all the people that like music..Every live show is unique and worth of remembering since interacting with different people through music always gives you a huge variety of emotions.
Your musical influences
My musical influences are derived firstly from my classical music studies as being a graduate fro the fine arts school (dept. of music) here in Greece. but when it comes to metal, i guess Anathema were always a huge part of me and i am sure parts of them can be found inside my music...
What equipment do you use?
I use Gibson Les Paul for the electric parts and a Godin Multiac Spectrum for the acoustic songs, Tech21 amps and a various of pedals for the guitar. For the Voice i use the tc-electronics Helicon pedal
