Crush is a Dutch rockband centered around singer/guitariste Iris van der Lee. We play short, melodic rocksongs.
Band/artist history
In 1997 a bunch of like-minded souls decide to start playing music together. First by the name Crush and Blast, they start playing covers by, amongst others, K's Choice, The Babys, Skunk Anansie and The Pixies. After a while they drop the last part of the name, when they choose a heavier, melodic rock-sound. They start playing their own songs and the covers are dropped entirely.
Fronted by the lascivious Iris van der Lee, a crossover between Joan Jett and Nena, whose energetic guitar playing and vocal style pushes the rest of the band forward. The band smoothly moves between fast and heavy punk-rock songs and softer, more pensive mid-tempo rock songs. What distinct the band from others are the catchy, captivating melodic songs that automatically invites the audience to move.
Fast forward to 2005. With the addition of bass guitarist Iwan Plomp and lead guitarist Arthur Rikkelman, they finally achieve their current sound and record their third (unreleased) demo-cd, Mindfucker. Crush is a dynamic, melodic rock band that provides an evening's worth of instantly recognisable up tempo songs, and some slower ones as well.
What can you expect on a Crush-concert? Crush will make you smile and sweat. Better go see them fast!

Ik zit inderdaad niet op het SoP forum, ik weet niet zo goed eigenlijk wat ik er moet doen haha, ik heb op het Ayreon-forum al bijna nooit iets te vertellen, dus tja. En daarnaast ook een beetje druk (vooral met leuke dingen, dus dat is mooi), ben bezig een nieuw nummertje op te nemen, ik laat het je weten als ie er is!
MartineDankjewel! :) Mooi dat n-tracks het eindelijk doet, houden zo!Hey Joop! Ik snap de hint van je messageboard. Bij deze dus iets minder leeg. ;) Hier gaat het goed, inspiratie genoeg, alleen niet genoeg tijd om het allemaal met N-tracks ed te doen. Hoe bevalt n-tracks je? Al iets kunnen opnemen?
