Lyrical Saints Lyrical Saints are called to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the beliefs of the evangelical Christian faith, to maintain the worship of God and to inspire in all persons a love for Christ, a passion for righteousness and an earnestness to seek God Daily. We are committed to Christ and the call on our lives, to demonstrate His Spirit through worship, witnessing and ministering to the needs of His church and the community. The Target: Adolescents ranging from all walks of life. Incarcerated youth, gangs,drug abuse, broken homes and emotional problems. The Plan: The plan today remains the same: to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and to help them grow in their faith. This happens when caring adults build genuine friendships and earn the right to be heard with their young friends. The Ministry: To use the tool of music to get the attention of todays youth. The Holy Hip Hop music we write and perform is God centered that reflects Gods word. Our outreach concerts are based off of a church service style. During our performances we deliver Bible based sermons and verse by verse teaching with lots of excitement to enjoy for all. After our ministry concerts we follow up with the youth we have made contact with and direct them to a Church near there location. One that is Bible Based. About Us: Lyrical Saints, founded in 2006 Dedicated to Spread the Gospel Of Jesus Christ. The Vision: Lyrical Saints is a Holy Hip Hop outreach ministry that writes, records, produces and performs our own music. We use this music as a tool to create opportunity to preach the Gospel and to relate to the youth. We speak Biblical truth in our music and as a result it has impacted many lives. We have seen the awesome power of the Holy Spirit move powerfully in our outreaching events and many kids have received Jesus Christ through our ministry. Our hearts desire is to reach as many lost souls as we can to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to all we come in contact with. Our outreach ministry has performed all over Colorado for 2 years. We currently have been going to the The ark once a month for over 1 year to build relationships with the youth and to minister to them. We also go to Zed Peak, Spring Creek and Pueblo Juvenal detention centers. In the last 12 months we have experienced kids tell us time and time again they love our music and want to know Jesus. So in 2008 we are Praying for more outreach events. There is a real need to continue to reach out to these kids in the urban areas and throughout Colorado Springs. Our ability to relate to the youth from all different backgrounds such as drug abuse, violence, gangs, and broken homes is something that is second nature to us. Most of us have very strong testimonies and have been through similar types of problems. Most importantly we have a heart for the youth and are concerned for their salvation. We have found that building trust among these kids takes time and by getting to know them we have a greater chance of being able to truly minister to them. We have seen a lot of kids authentically receive Jesus Christ as Lord and that is the best thing we could ask for. I believe the more we can get in front of the youth the more lives Jesus can touch.
