God, I sincerely hope you guys are 14 and no older. Being 14 makes this kind of sheer musical ineptitude almost excusable. If you're 14, there's a chance that you might stumble across some decent records one day, and by the time you're ohhh, maybe 18, you will look back on such abominations as "Torn in Two" and "Breath To Die" and feel almost suicidal with embarrasment. If you MUST write and sing drumless, droning acoustic "rock", then will you PLEASE go out and buy Nirvana's Unplugged record, just about the only decent example of this genre. "Staind" is not an acceptable alternative. It is simply awful, whining, wheedling, whiteboy angst sh***e - bit like your tunes actually. At least "Staind" have a couple of hooks however (even if they are utterly predictable and rapidly forgetable) - something "Crucial Point" are sorely, critically lacking. In conclusion, go and listen to At The Drive-In. There's nothing wrong with singing about your own problems, but try to start think
