Crossfire is a Classic Rock 'n Roll that plays in the greater Washington DC area.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The core of our band has been playing out together since 1979, when we started out as an acoustic duo. We became a acoustic trio in 1982 and finally, with the addition of a drummer in 1986, evolved into a full-out band. Through it all we've kept our dynamic harmonies and tasteful song selection out front as our trademark sound.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We usually play out every month or two.

Your musical influences
Anything that sounds good is an influence on us. We enjoy playing tunes by people like the Byrds, CSNY, Beatles, Beach Boys, Van Morrison, Stones, Clapton, Stevie Ray, Springsteen and many other artists. We like variety and don't play a whole lot of any one artist or style. Instead we prefer to mix it up and it's not unusual to find Classic & new Rock, Stax, Blues, Acoustic, Motown and even a little Country in one of our sets.
