Cross Creek is a band from Malibu California dedicated to their own form of Blues Rock with hints of Jazz, Reggae, industrial, Funk.
Each cut is an on the spot improvisation .Our goal was to make great music without the restraints of having to follow something previously written. Thus every jam with very few exceptions were made up and recorded as we went.
This is real music from the heart I hope you enjoy it.

Live Jams From Cross Creek. These are live jams recorded at Maurice Travis studio in Malibu Ca.Serra Retreat .Cross Creek .Blues Jazz post modern Rock Impromptu Improv Jams. Recorded on a Tascam four track with 3 or 4 live mikes these recordings are sketches of music meant for additional instrumentation at a later date. Members are Doug Smith Harps and D.J. The music is a result of the Malibu Lifestyle. Surf influenced but with elements of Blues Jazz Rave Industrial Reggae Rap Rock.
