Critical Mass (Canada)
Critical Mass are Canadian Gospel Music Association and United Catholic Music and Video Association winners for Best Rock Album honours. Since 1997, their blend of innovative lyrics and modern rock has garnered a legion of fans, with now over 40,000 CDs sold featuring this band's songs, making this Canadian rock band one of Christian music's best kept secrets. In 2002, one of the biggest audiences for a modern rock band ever, with 800,000 at the Papal Vigil in Toronto, enjoyed their talents. Their newest album, "Grasping for Hope in the Darkness" is a modern rock concept album dealing with topics like pornography, abuse, pro-life issues, redemption and salvation.
