When I'm Gone When I'm Gone

The closest thing to a single we have. It's a bit angsty, but also catchy. With a structure. We're pleased with this one. CC+GM vox.

Alternative General

Conspiracy Theory Conspiracy Theory

Quite heavy, fairly angry, rather funky and extremely paranoid. I'm mega proud of this. Updated vocals, they're less bad but still not fantastic. Written and recorded by Mucker. GM vox.

How to fly if you're not a bird How to fly if you're not a bird

Yet more music that verges on happy...well, happy by our standards, at least. Quite a catchy acoustic guitar track. A bit of a rough recording, but very worth a listen. CC Vox.

Rock Unplugged

All the Freaks All the Freaks

A fast, cool punk rock song. It has a beat, and should the need arise, you can dance to it. Re-recording with audible guitar coming soon.

Pop Punk

Tuesday Tuesday

Laid back acoustic and some rather nice vocals, both from Cameron. It's a bit country, but not overly. And it's...happy?!

Rock Unplugged

Crime Scene Dog has gone through various incarnations over the past few years. After a variety of failed lineups we're sort of in hiatus at the moment. Our music is fairly alternative rock, with an even mix of upbeat and mellow material. We enjoy playing, writing music and improvised jamming, which we hope to implement in gigs.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We're just starting to play local gigs. Hopefully this will take off soon and we can make gigging a regular thing. So far we love it.
Your musical influences
We're influenced by a lot of bands/artists. Radiohead, Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Damien Rice are all reflected most strongly in our music, but also Jeff Buckley, Rage Against The Machine, Aphex Twin, Autechre, Our Lady Peace, Kings Of Leon, Queens Of The Stone Age, System Of A Down all affect how we go about making music.
What equipment do you use?
Cameron plays a Westfield Les Paul, a Squier Telecaster and a Westfield electro-acoustic through a Fender 200w amp. Mucker plays a Squier Fat Telecaster, a Peavey International Series bass and an Ibanez electro-acoustic through a Laney 120w bass amp. All recordings are done on PC using Cakewalk Plasma XP, and Hammerhead Rhythm Station (freeware and worth checking out) for drums.
Anything else?
