The Crazy Texas Gypsies are a new blues band made up of seasoned veteran performers steeped in old school tradition, and updated modern lyrical sensibility and rhythmic foundation. This allows them to transcend age and genre boundaries, reaching a wider more receptive audience while still maintaining their musical variety and artistic integrity. This band was formed for the sole purpose of writing, recording, and performing live blues music in a traditional context (guitar, bass, drums, organ, and vocals) with a current flavor. The Crazy Texas Gypsies perform music that is fun to play, and fun for audience to watch, listen to, and dance to.Have you performed in front of an audience?We mostly play in Reno NV area, also around the Bay Area in San Francisco. Opened for ZZ Top a few times,along with many others, but ZZ watched our entire show.
