The Crash Man Commeth. I am a session Bass player in Fort Worth, TX with a background in Jazz,Funk, Blues, R&B, Classic Rock, and some Reggae. Although I can't read music, I do know Chord Theory. Tell Me the key changes and let's jam. I am willing to play most anything if given the opertunity. I have played for a few bands locally, but none ever made it past the garage. Contact me if you need anything from a low down dirty groove machine to just someone to keep it in the pocket.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I have been playing bass for about 3 years now after struggling with the guitar for about 10 years. A friend mentioned one day that I play the guitar like a bass (single strings and power chords) and suggested that I give it a try. I did and have been in love ever since.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I have only played live a couple of times, and LOVED it.
Your musical influences
Funk such as James Jamerson, Bootsy Collins, and Flea; Rock such as John Paul Jones and Jack Bruce, and just general R&B and Blues.
What equipment do you use?
Music Man Stingray, Washburn XB120 Customized and fretless, Digitech BP200 Bass effects pedal, and Fender amplifiers.
