Punk

Formed in 1995. All were 15 and 16 year school kids. Played first gig later that year playing mostly punk covers. 1996 replaced bass player with Geordie Brown, played Belgium with Argy Bargy also did a lot of local gigs supported uk sub in South Shields. Played a couple of gigs with local bands Rampage and Boisterous, also in that year appeared on the documentary about skinheads called World Of Skinhead. 1997 released first single and later first cd This Is Our Music. Later that year (I think) had two tracks released on More Working Class Anthems, all on the Hammer Records label. Supported UK Subs again in South Shields. 1998 line up change Mark was fed up on sticks so Raish Carter was now in the hot seat. Went to Germany for a week long tour with Trinker Kohorte from Berlin. Also released Here Now And Real cd Hammer records. Played all over UK. 1999 played in France with The Business, Section 5 and Gundog. End 1999 Gary was finished on vocals and Raish took over for a couple of gigs with Mark back on sticks. 2000 decided to call it a day as we never had a drummer or permanent vocalist. Geordie (bass) and Lee (guitar) started another band Overload played a couple of gigs but that didn't workout either. Lee was still getting a lot of letters from all over, asking what was happening with c/o so with Decca Wade (ex Angelic Upstarts) back in town we decided to take things where we left off. Chris (myself) was asked to try out on vocals and the rest as you say is history. 2002 we have a ep cd coming out sometime in March. April 2002 the new c/o 'Back for More' was released, this was totally self produced by Crashed Out. Camden Town records (Spain) released the recording on 10" vinyl. Also from the cd the track (Devil on my back) was used on the Addicted to Oi comp on the Captian Oi label. Early 2003 and DSS records in Austria released the best of Crashed out entitled: Working-Class Aggression The Years 1996-2003. This is a 14 track recording from the previous 3 cds. Since the cd 'Back For More' we have played extensively throughout the uk,playing with bands such as: Angelic Upstarts, Cockney Rejects, Anti No-Where League, to name but a few. We also played the 2003 Holidays In The Sun festival, and are marked down for the 2004 Wasted festival. Crashed Out end the year with the Berlin 'Punk n Disorderly' festival, roll on 2004. Lee Wright - lead guitar has played in a couple of local bands. Geordie Brown - bass has played in a couple of local bands. Decca Wade - drums has played in a lot of bands, most knowingly Angelic Upstarts. Chris Wright - vocals no other bands.
Band/artist history
See Introduction.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We love the live circuit, this is what we do best. We have played all over the UK and Europe. We had a tour of Germany that was both great and a bit of a nightmare. But it was a great experience. Lately Spain has been a good one to remember. The people were great and right up for a good time. Just how we like it.
Your musical influences
All kinds but mainly Punk and Rock We prefer a more melodic sound like S.L.F or the Ramones. Bands we are influenced by range from the above mentioned and the likes of: The Dickies, Angelic Upstarts, Dropkick Murphy's, Cock Sparrer, Sex Pistols, AC/DC, Motorhead and even Del Shannon and Elvis.....
What equipment do you use?
Guitar, Bass, Drums and a loud voice.
Anything else?
Cheers and we would like to hear from anyone who is into our music.
