Songwriter, producer and guitarist for the legendary rock band Heart and such artists as Blondie, Tina Arena, Seal, Simply Red and many others, finally has a solo CD. Sixteen songs, twelve notes and a million words. These songs are about life ..... big corporations, little people. Reality TV, shadow lives. Over medicating, under living. Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I do play live with the rock band Heart. We are currently on tour throughout this summer, and I love it every minute of it.
Your musical influences
The Beatles, Eels, Elliott Smith and Burt Bacharch (amongst others) all get together and create music for a very mixed up time we're living in.......
What equipment do you use?
Acoustic and electric guitars (including 12 string, and a papoose acoustic), bass (both electric and acoustic), ukulele, Victorian pump organ, Magnus chord organ, mellotron, harmonium, accordion, drums (both real and programming), keyboards (piano, harpsichord, toy piano, samplers), various percussion, and finally one of the more useful instruments, a voice.
