Cozy Street Corner

The Indonesian music group that share the 'cozy music' on their musical works to bring 'warm and comfortable' atmosphere to the listeners.

We will find that Cozy Street Corner's music were synthesis of talents from classics, modern, traditional music from several region in Indonesia, (such as Indonesian folk, Sundanese /west-Java, coastal area of east Java, eastern Indonesia) in fact even from Middle East's Music.

Cozy, have three musician as members, Christian "Kriss" Takarbessy, Boby priambodo and Petrus b. "Adoy" Adi. They have started their musical journey as a band since their Performence in public at September 8th, 1996, in art stage program held by their High School (SMU Regina Pacis - Bogor) at Pasar Seni Ancol - Jakarta. They have been playing music together since they were in High School. In addition, this name band has also been a memento of a place at street corner close to the neighbourhood where they used to live in school time, a place where they used to perform their musical performance every weekend from 8pm. till 4am. - the place that always be "cozy" for them.

We play live frequently and we're enjoyed it. Our own self-promo live called "Paparan Musikal" (The musical explanations) was performed for the first time on 1998 at Pusat Studi jepang - University of Indonesia. The latest one was at Kopi Selasar Art Space - Bandung, on 2008.

The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Bob Marley, our local/ traditional music and composers (Said Effendi, Ismail Marzuki, Gesang, AT Mahmud etc.)

We love to research & promote our own local (indigenous) music concept & we love "D.I.Y" :)
