Cover the Earth started in the Summer of 2003 after picking up drummer Jeff Taylor. Caleb Jones, Andy Duke, and Bryan Hartzog have been playing together for over 5 years in the band Anchored Souls. We are excited about the future God has for us and look forward to continue in ministry through music in the future.
Band/artist history
In 1998, Caleb Jones, Bryan Hartzog, Matt Scott, Andy Duke, and 4 others started the first youth praise band for Ebenezer Baptist Church. Out of that youth praise band came Anchored Souls, formed by Caleb, Bryan, Matt, and Andy. They played at churches and other venues for about 4 years and then took about year off from playing. In the summer of 2003, God led Jeff Taylor to take over the position of drummer. It is with this that Cover the Earth was born. From this day forward we have one purpose... to cover the earth with God's message of love and hope.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We were born out of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Toccoa, GA. We have all been playing there for years and now seek to reach out and begin to minister to other churches and groups.
