Coventide
Originality is a rare term in this media-oriented times but every now and then a band comes along that produce magnificient masterpieces that only the culturally blind could fail to recognise. Extreme metal, for once that produce distinctive bands over the years may seems monotonous at times, but a major breakthrough seems at hand. For that movement is the mighty Coventide who will set the standards for their complex arrangements and mind-bending technicality.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Formed in March 2005,Coventide is a 3 piece Progressive/Folk Metal band.Consisting of Jaani(6 strings halberd),Shaz(4 string axe) and Aiiri(battery),they have been working really hard to self-produce an EP entitled 'Druids Of The Eventyr'.They will set the infidels ablaze with their technical and intelligent masterpiece ever.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We will be very honoured to be given a chance to have our own gig.
Your musical influences
We defined our music as Progressive/Folk Metal with elements of early Death/Black/Gothic metal.Our influences ranges from Emperor, Rotting Christ,Ensiferum,Bathory,Flowing Tears,Blackmore's Night,Mithotyn,Orphaned Land and many more.
