Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Cousin X' first cd entitled Pay the Price (CX9701) was released December 1997 and presented in the Amsterdam Rock Arena, Paradiso. The concert was broadcast by Dutch radio station, VPRO. Pay the Price contains a variety of music, from Jazz to Hip Hop, from Hard-Bop to Rock. October 1998, the band released X-Cuse Me! (CX9802). This release was the start of a tour that was initiated by Dutch premier venues: VIP Tour. Some of the venues visited where: BIM Huis - Amsterdam, SJU-Jazzstage - Utrecht, Paradox Tilburg and NightTown Theatre Rotterdam.
Summer of 1995 Cousin X was invited to do a series of concerts in Morocco during the 16th International World Music Festival of Saïdia. Moreover, Cousin X was featured at the 1999 edition of the North Sea Jazz Festival.
