Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Dynamic, Soulful & Sensual are just some of the words that have been used when describing the voice of Courtney King. She has a style that is comparable to artists Regina Belle, Anita Baker and Lalah Hathaway. A native Houstonian, Courtney came from a musical background. By age 21, she wrote & co-produced her self-titled CD which sprung the highly requested radio jam “Be About It”. Courtney blends funk, R&B, jazz a little pop and even country to create her very unique sound. She defies comparison, with a unique and distinctive sound all her own.
