What started out as something to do with his spare time in 1999 soon became in 2003 a business opportunity when CEO Carlos “C-Lo” Orr launched Country Boy Records. Using his musical skills as a saxophonist, C-Lo to easily master the art of producing music, in which it fell into the hands of his brother Young Sheezy. The two brothers have gained enormous knowledge for and of the music business through industry’s artists, books, and their own trail and errors. After 5 years of grinding the underground circuit, C-Lo has his company on the right track to becoming a power house not only in Southeast Georgia but also the whole south. Their sound is not like others in some ways but still give off that southern feel to the music. Beat Down Production, which is that production company that C-Lo owns also, has combine the east coast melodies with a heavy southern bass line and a additional laid back feel that even the west coast could appreciate. With these attributes and hunger for success, Country Boy Records is just one step away from achieving their goals.
