Folk music Played guitar, fiddle & mandolin in Rock Bands, Country Rock and Southern Rock Bands during and after College in the late 70's. Presently concentrate on songwriting and home-recording. I had a couple of songs picked up by a music publisher at one point. Once in a while I get talked into performing again; otherwise I just get together with my friends.
I do not have a set band. I am a songwriter. Sometimes I perform my own songs and sometimes they are performed by other artists.

Old time music and fiddle tunes done on banjo, fiddle, guitar, hammered dulcimer and penny whistle. This is what happens when parents say that music is a required part of the children's education. Or.. we needed someone to play along with us.
Songwriter/singer. I write Christian music. Some rock, progressive, country, bluegrass and contemporary. I write in other genres as well. Collabs welcome! Testimony of 'How God Births A Songwriter' 5/7/09 The Heart of North Carolina is home to Diane Guy Barnes, an American songwriter. This songwriting comes as quite the surprise as God leads her down unlikely paths, never having aspired to be one. She is amazed at God for doing this!
Mostly acoustic mandolin, fiddle and guitar instrumentals in the celtic/American fiddle tune tradition. Wallace Pryor playing mandolin, violin (fiddle) and guitar. Instrumentals and songs in the American/Celtic tradition. The best description for the music I play would be Old Time Country. A lot of people would call it Bluegrass, which is really a distinct form of Old Time Country with a driving rhythm--some of what I play is Bluegrass, but I'd have to say I lean more towards pre-Bluegrass O...
