Cosmic Carrot
Welcome, we are cosmic carrot, a band brought together by a mutual love of 60's and 70's rock 'n' roll. It all started by a simple phone call made from Tom to Baker, the idea was to form a local grunge band. After several jamming sessions held by Baker and Tom the songs: Caroline, Itch and rock and/or roll were created and the greatest British musical partnership since Morrissey and Marr was born (ha all jokes). We then realised that a rock and roll band cannot survive without a drummer, we searched high and low for a drummer and found nothing, but fortunately one night we were bored of our faces and ended up at Brendan Hurly's house, it was here where we met Peter O'Reilly the young mancunian boy with Irish heritance. With musical equipment set up we jammed through a tearing cover of Nirvana's Breed and the musical genius that is Cosmic Carrot was born
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I really can't be fucked to write this but...Me and Baker started writing music together around summer 2004 it was good. Anyway, we then realised that we needed a drummer so we grabbed Pete after jamming with him at some party. We then played together a few times....yadda yadda yadda......then we played a few gigs....yadda yadda yadda....and it worked out so we're still going.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
