Conics
Coming out of Ottawa, this young rapper prides himself on lyrical ability and conceptual ideas. Using simple equipment, Conics has made the best of his situation proving to be a force in local circles. Freestyling to recordings, Conics is bound for greatness if given the opportunities.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Um, I started in BC when I was on a trip and my friends threw me on a track. I think that was December of 2003.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I freestyle wherever and I record on my laptop. I have very inexpensive and simple tools to create music with.
Your musical influences
I like wordplay, similes and metaphors and puns. I'm not great at them, but I got a couple ; )
What equipment do you use?
I use my computer, my computer mic, and ACID pro, which I downloaded.
