I want to respond to this ongoing convo with smoothvado for the benefit of anybody who would be interested in following this discussion.
First of all the Bible doesn't just say that black people are cursed, it says that all people are cursed. And it has been almost 1 thousand generations since that curse happened, and God promises to bless those who believe in His name and follow him. The cursed son of Noah had a lot more descendants than just black people.
I heard a song once that I thought applied to the thought of working up one's rep for doing God's work later. It was a song about someone saying they would serve God tomorrow, because it is so hard to say I'll serve God today, but it is easy to say I'll do it tomorrow. We need to serve God today. In the Bible Jesus call to discipleship was just like that. The church today says anytime come and follow, our doors are open. Jesus said to several people, you can't follow me, because you have other priorities. Vado-thanks for

Fiery Furnace: Is now uploaded. This addresses Christianity in relation to another monotheistic counterpart. Mission work has given me special insight here.
Cracks in the Building: A song about the body of Christ breaking as well as discussing the areas we must stand firm and the areas we can show grace to our brothers and sisters.
Let Them Mock Me: Christ took my place on the Cross. Since we do His work now I ask that I would take the mocking that He receives in the world today proudly.
Lights Out: A song about God's Christians not listening to Him. The hope is to wake up Christians as they relax during their younger years.
