»compay« is a german left-political singer-songwriter, who makes you dance by playing your own melody!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
i'm singing, playing and writing songs since 1998. have played in some politically hardcore, punkrock and popbands. since 2002 i prefere playing alone, just because i've not the time for a serious band. my music is not the first in my life!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
like it very much, but not offen get chance to.
Your musical influences
i've ever been into this leftist punkrock thing. one of my favs and big influences are john k. samson and his ”The Weakerthans«. i like this poetic way to say how things are, just to show how reality works. this is fucking political! noone needs borring slogans but everyone wants to identify with music. this is what the weakerthans do and what i try.
