Milwaukee, Wisconsin isn't the easiest place to gain recognition in Hip-Hop. Although there are some talented MC's, most of them have yet to master there sound or find direction, but one group is going to change those things from now and into the future. Common Threat, consisting of MC's from the North and South side of Milwaukee display what the games been missing. Three members of Common Threat, Punch, Dres & Mark G are prepared to release their debut album "Poverty" which is a raw and explicit description of the city in the Midwest's ups and downs. The album is 12 tracks of nonstop lyrics and beats that speak for theirselves in creativity and expression. Punch, 20, from Milwaukee's North Side area is featured on every track on the album, holding down alot of the weight when it was time to record the album. Dres, 21, son of a musician, appears on half of the album, representing the South Side of Milwaukee, one of the first to ever do so. Mark G, 21, another resident of Milwaukee's North Side is the final ingredient for this album, he appears on the lead single "North Side Bang" alongside Punch and the street record "The Block is Tippin'" all of which are from the "Poverty" album which is now available.
