Commanders In Chief is a duo of Da General and Neemasis, a rapper and a producer, who collectively make the greatest combination of hip hop display ever known to man.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Tha Chiefs started in 2005 as a partnership between Neemasis and Da General and has since expanded into a 6 member executive entourage. Neemasis and Da General have been producing and writing their own material and preparing to release solo albums, a compilation, and a collaboration album.

Your musical influences
Da General's influences are a mix of all the greatest rappers. His style has 2Pac's controversy, Biggie's finess, Jay-Z's confidence, T.I.'s hustle mentality, and a thought process unlike anything you could ever imagine.
Neemasis as a producer is unhuman. He is a mix of all the greats. Pharell's carisma, Kanye's ability to "sell" himself, Dre's creativity and eventually his longevity, Puffy's ear for talent, and Teddy Riley's "it" complex. As a rapper Neem is a mix of Eastcoast and downsouth. His bars are incredible.
Together they make what Biggie and Puffy were in the late 90's and what Dre and Snoop were in the mid-90's.
