The band started out as an experimental thing where I (Villnave) could continue with what I started in the greatest metal band on earth, Realm. The music was at first kinda weird and real electronic, but I wen't back to a less electronic, more hard rock sound. Joe Boo joined Cold Eternal on bass.

Band/artist history

The band started off with just Villnave and the initial experimental albums "The Cold, "The Fallen, and "The Black" were recorded. After that, the band went to a more rock oriented sound, not so experimental. "Songs of Winter", "Glacial", and "An Empty Sun" were recorded and Joe Boo was featured on all of them. Cold Eternal has never been a fully committed live act, but when Cold Eternal did play it was Villnave on guitar & vocals, Joe Boo on bass, and Spink on drums.

Your musical influences

Danzig, Sponge, Johnny Cash, Elvis, Nine Inch Nails

What equipment do you use?

We do a lot on the computer recording-wise, but use a BC Rich Virgin Guitar, a Peavey acoustic/electric, Marshall amps, and Peavey PA.
