Coffee shop is a new greek rock band who tries to combine various and different sounds,like rock (the main ingredient and in various forms,such as 70's,nu rock,art rock) but also lounge,jazz,etc
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Coffee shop are :Fivos roussis (vocals),Thanos libitakis(guitar),antonis aspropoulos(drums),Chris polychronou-kagelaris(synth) and haris geroulakis (bass)
Each of us has a different music influences like classic rock,southern rock,funk,heavy,alternative,space,electronic and lots of others which contributed to the sound
However,the group's main goal is to play simple songs with melody and easy verses.
The outcome of 2+ years of work is the first group's cd with the title "Stin akri tou kosmou" (to the edge of the world) and it has 11 songs
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
For the moment we're searching for available record labels and we'll soon get back to performing.
What equipment do you use?
We're using shure sm-58s for vocals,sonor signature drums with zildjian cymbals, fender guitars,fender guitar amp and tonelab guitar effect,fender precision 57 bass,ampeg b-2 bass amp,and triton and roland synth with leslie speaker.
