Squirrel's gURL Squirrel's gURL

Rock tune featuring good simulations of the vintage keyboards that made so much of the music of the '70s great: The Fender Rhodes electric piano, the Hammond B3 organ and the Hohner D6 clavinet. Oh, and some sim-saxes thrown in for good measures.

Band/artist history
The single artist behind CodeAquamarine is a software developer by day and a musician by night, and was understandably very interested in the merging of computers and music. He started working with MIDI back in 1990 and found it to be an invaluable tool for writing music.

Your musical influences
CodeAquamarine is influnced be everything the artist behind it has ever heard, yet strives for originality. So there are no direct influences, just lots of indirect ones.
What equipment do you use?
Logic Pro Studio running on an Intel Core Duo 2-based iMac, M-AUDIO Axiom 49 MIDI controller. Pre 2010: Cakewalk SONAR digital audio software with DXi instruments and effects, Yamaha SY22 and Oxygen 8 as MIDI controller, Midisport 2x2 USB MIDI interface. Fostex PMO.4n monitors, Audio-Technica Studiophones, M-AUDIO FastTrack audio interfaces, Selmer saxophones.
Anything else?
Thank you for taking the time to listen to my music. I appreciate all comments and friend adds. Creating the music is very enjoyable, but knowing that just one song has connected with just one other person makes the whole effort truly worthwhile.
