Cobi AKA ExRated

Member of Wickit, and Co-Owner of Deep Dirt Records. Cobi first struggled with a solo "career" during his teenage years, releasing a 7 song demo/sampler (which nobody has anymore except the vault in the DDR Recording office...). Started the group Wickit with his 2 brothers. Released 4 LP's and numerous EP's with the group, including an all-freestyle album featuring a few of local hip-hop's lesser known talents. Cobi also produces some of the beats you hear, and is also an accomplished singer. His sound is like no other...

I actually started in the rap game when I was about 13. A few of my friends were into it (I lived int the projects, the culture was everywhere.) So about then I decided to try writing rhyme and started occasionally freestyling with the kids in the neighborhood. All started from there.

I've played live all over PA and in a few places in Ohio and NY. I love the stage, makes me feel right at home.

I listened to a lot of stuff growin' up. Kiss, KRS-One, Kool Mo Dee, Naughty By Nature, lots of Metal and 80's rock. Then my whole life changed the first time I heard Tupac. I knew that this is what I wanted to do.
