Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I started as a rapper and recorded myself on cool edit pro 2 (Old Skool). Since I hated school, i taught myself how to use the computer and make beats on FL Studio. Then I became obsessed with quality and began studying engineering. Went to record at official recording studios, built relationships with the engineers, and picked their brains. Learned the lingo, techniques, and theory behind recording and mixing. Worked for a few studios, learned the biz, and now I'm doing everything with my own team.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
NO i can't play at all. I build my beats like a puzzle. Put the pieces together 1 by 1.If i need someone to play i just hire a musician.
Your musical influences
I would say as a rapper I was influenced more by 2pac. I listend to alot of 70's soul music comming up and I still do to this day. Isley Brothers, Stevie Wonder, Norman Connor, Jermain Jackson, and Confunkshun. Just to name a few. But I love soul music. I love young Guru as an engineer also Chris ‘TEK’ O’Ryan grammy award winning engineer.
What equipment do you use?
Pro Tools 8, FL Studio 9, Digi Rack, VSTs, and to much effects to even start to mention.
