Cliff Dwela
I'm not the "typical" rapper. I ain't grow up iin the hood or anything like that. I'm a middle class doo from Radcliff, Kentucky. I write about things I love: love, sex, and my values. Somtimes I write bout what I feel, sometimes bout what I see, and at times I write bout things I want. I like bein able to help people express theyselves. I'm not hard, I'm not a thug ,and don't claim to be. I'm a old-fashioned romantic and pretty much a nice guy, and it's reflected in a lot of the songs I write.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I started writing songs in the eighth grade, but not as a rapper. I had a decent singing voice back then, but when puberty came in, my singing voice went out. I continued to write R&B style songs, never considering becoming a rapper. It wasn't until my freshman year of college that it became a possibility. A friend of mine challenged me to write a rap and I've been doing it since.
