ClearTone are new wave melodic rock group, based upon guitar driven melodies, and big sounding vocals. They share styles with the likes of Metallica (Black Album era) Pearl Jam, 3 Doors Down, and Smashing Pumpkins but with our own twist. Their trait is how they blend dynamics and contrasts of loud and soft, heavy and mellow, to form one solid piece of music. CT formed in 2003, and have never looked back. At the centre of the group lies the writing duo of frontman Paul Whalley and guitar maestro Tom Jelly, and on the outside we have the hard hitting drum master Jonathan Adam and the lively fret master bassist Thomas Wheeler. They take pride in their live show, and have to be seen to be believed!
We have recently played slots at local venues like The Lemon Tree, Kef and Dr Drakes, as well as taking part at a hugely successful charity rock concert 'Tribute For One Night Only' at the City's Arts Centre in October 2003. We are a four-piece band, with a years worth of gigging experience together, but individually each member has 4 years+ experience in performance. Our crowning moment came in 2003 when we supported BBC Unsigned Band of the year 'The Vaults' in Aberdeen and Inverness. We are working on a new EP and are looking to branch out from Aberdeen to try different audiences and venues.Have you performed in front of an audience?Playing live is a huge strength of ours, and we absoloutely would not be able to live without doing it! We mainly gig in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Hey Guys. I listened to Alone. Great song, could use a stronger build up after the intro, a little smoother between the guitar distortion parts and you got er goin on. Keep up the good work. If you wanna check us out give "Brothers" a listen and let us know what you think. Jay.
