I used to produce for Sugar Hill Records back in it's hey day. Then on to Capitol/Manhattan Records. Now on my own label . I've been out there and have a lot of fans in different locations.Band/artist history
Age 17+: Signed with Sugar Hill Records and began producing songs for the labels artist including: Mele Mel and the Furious Five. Also worked with Master G, Treacherous Three, Weststreet Mob, Sequence Girls, Shonte, Lisa Daniel (Ronald Isley's artist). Performed backing vocals on Aaron Mills Solo Project (Vitamin A), met Greg Williams (founder of switch) and almost became a member of the New Switch.
I sang a lot of falsetto at the time. I toured Germany, UK, and all over america and it was a blast. Mel is a genius and scorpio showed me how to really perform live without an instrument in my hands.
Age 20+: I was" discovered" by Gerry Griffith (he discovered Whitney Houston too!) and joined Manhatta-EMI Records and produced 2nd solo albumn also titled: Clayton Savage. This album also included the song Virgin Lover and the single "Palm of Her Hand". This song was the theme for a new show called Video Soul on BET. More singles were released overseas than here in the USA, but I didn't find out until later.
Bruce Lundvall (Capital Records)is a really cool guy that appreciated my music. I also met and had a blast with Sylvia Rhone and her then husband Don Davenport. I appeared with a full page color spread in RIGHT ON! magazine and on the cover of Black Hair magazine. Cynthia Horner is one really great person. I heard I was signed to the William Morris Agency. I appeared on the cover of the Aretha Franklin Who's Zoomin Who? album cover.Have you performed in front of an audience?I have toured all over the UK and Singapore. Germany, and across the USA. I will again after the release of the next single.

QSJ Radio is the new home for underground artists. Just like all other radio stations, we have new exclusives, call in requests, and in-depth interviews with the artists; but unlike every other station you may have heard of, we allow for brand new underground artists to be heard. This is a chance for you to get heard by many people. I would like for you to submit some of your music (if you are willing) so that you can be heard by many. This is all free of charge and is a chance to gain exposure. If you need more information contact me on myspace at www.myspace.com/qsjproductions or you can send an email at trafficqsj@aol.com.Hey Savage...I like it!
