C Kyd

About me? If God tells you the answer to that question, take notes and send me a message. I have no idea about myself. I guess that?s one reason I write songs. Some things just can?t be stated accurately in prose; some truths can only be communicated in their pure forms through poetry. It?s these truths that I try to deal with the most, because the more I do, the more it seems I find out about myself. I love articulating my blurriest parts and ripping the gags off my most suppressed thoughts. I hope that someday I?ll write a song about my darkest, ugliest flaw or my most intense fear and have someone tell me, ?I love that song because it?s about me.? That?s it. No more talking. Go listen.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I do play live, as Charles Kyd. That page is coming soon. Check me out at www.myspace.com/charleskyd. Back in '05, I played in a talent show in Puyallup, WA. I hadn't performed live very much, so it meant a lot to me when the company who put on the show asked me to play again in a show they were doing at Wild Waves Amusement Park in Federal Way, WA. Turned out at that show that I was the only artist older than about 12, and the only rapper. You gotta pay your dues....
